So my friend Mike mentioned to me this chemical called DMT that’s in our body and is released in a small amount when we’re born and then all of it is released when we die. Doctors and scientists don’t know what it’s used for - maybe to ease the pain of death? The thing with it is it’s also found in plants, and people have found a way to gain some and then smoke it and hallucinate off it.
Alright so it’s some drug now, but the weird thing is. According to people’s stories, if you break the initial trippy high you get, you breakthrough to this place hyperspace (cause in your mind time is slowed down so much) and basically your complete reality is broken up and you’re in this new dimension.
So still yeah “okay you’re tripping on a hallucinogen” but here’s what interests me so much: Everyone sees the same thing in this new place.
Everyone whose made it past the initial high has seen the same type of small alien/ elf like beings who have this presence of immense knowledge and importance. Although to me it sounds creepy according to the stories it was very peaceful and the aliens helped to make the people sort of reborn, where they have the same personality just new insight of importance in the world. Apparently in this DMT trip you also see like energy in new ways and stuff. Idk everyone who reports about their trip always mention how they felt at one with the universe and this new understanding.
If it was just some drug, then yeah okay, funny stuff how they trip and see crazy LSD type stuff. But it kinda creeps me out that everyone sees the same beings while all our minds are unique and our imaginations make us think different stuff, even while tripping on drugs.
The fact that this drug is released sometime near our death is interesting. If it’s a split second before death, this drug released in huge amounts (more than possible to attain and smoke from plants) could make that one second slow down and seem like eternity (when people smoke it they think they’re dying cause they feel their breath and heartbeat so far apart). Maybe our mind would be in this hallucinogetic state for what feels like eternity.
If it’s released upon death, maybe this is the link from physical to spiritual. Being “iffy” on the idea of an afterlife, I always questioned how do we go from our body to some eternal being with the same soul. Maybe this chemical released is the way, where we meet these beings who in the trips seem to control the universe or are very important in it.
Or maybe it’s just some chemical in our body that if you abuse and use as a drug you see aliens. *shrug* haha
I guess we’ll all find out eventually!
